Question 1

DO I NEED A VISA TO ENTER EGYPT?

Accepted Answer

Visa requirements depend on your nationality.

Many nationalities can obtain a 30-day tourist visa on arrival at Egyptian international airports, currently priced at USD 25.

Your passport should generally be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry and have the required blank pages.

Requirements can change, so we strongly recommend checking the latest entry regulations with your country’s government or the Egyptian authorities before travelling.

Question 2

IS AIRPORT TRANSFER INCLUDED?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Round-trip transfers between Hurghada International Airport and the marina are included in your Anubis Safari package.

If you’re arriving through another airport, such as Cairo or Marsa Alam, we can arrange a private transfer for an additional charge.

Question 3

Accepted Answer

Absolutely.

If you don’t want to bring your own equipment, you can add our Weekly Kite Equipment Rental to your booking.

Weekly rental: €450 / person

The rental package includes the equipment required for independent riding throughout the safari week.

Availability and equipment sizes should be confirmed in advance.

Question 4

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Accepted Answer

We understand that plans can change, so our cancellation terms are designed to be clear from the beginning.

60+ days before departure:
The deposit can be converted into a voucher for a future Anubis trip, subject to our booking terms.

Less than 60 days before departure:
The deposit is non-refundable.

No refund will be issued in cases of late arrival, failure to board, no-show or inability to travel due to missing or invalid travel documentation.

We recommend having appropriate travel insurance that covers your trip and kitesurfing activities.

Contact our team with your preferred dates and group size, and we’ll provide the available options.

Question 6

WHICH AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY TO?

Accepted Answer

For the Anubis Kite Safari, Hurghada International Airport (HRG) is the most convenient option.

The airport is approximately 10 minutes from Hurghada Marina and around 25 minutes from El Gouna, depending on traffic.

Other international arrival options include:

Marsa Alam International Airport — approximately 300 km away
Cairo International Airport — approximately 470 km away

For the easiest start to your safari, Hurghada is the recommended airport.

Question 7

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WIND CONDITIONS CHANGE?

Accepted Answer

The Red Sea is known for its reliable wind, but wind and sea conditions are naturally weather-dependent.

Our route is planned around the wind, sea conditions and safety of the group, allowing the captain and crew to choose the best available spot whenever conditions require a change.

The route follows the conditions — the adventure stays the same. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
